Aloha University offers a straightforward admissions process designed for first-time college students seeking an affordable, fully online bachelor’s degree. Admissions are rolling, with monthly start dates and fully asynchronous coursework.
At launch, enrollment is limited to students residing in the United States.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must meet the following requirements at the time of admission:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Homeschooled applicants must also present a diploma or GED
- A minimum high school GPA of 2.0
- A qualifying standardized test score:
- SAT: minimum score of 900
- ACT: minimum score of 16
International students are not admitted at launch. International enrollment may be introduced in a future admissions cycle.
What You Can Study
Aloha University offers Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees across multiple academic fields.
Transfer credit is not accepted at launch.
Transfer credit policies are expected to be introduced in 2027.
How to Apply
To apply, submit the following materials:
- Completed online application
- Official high school transcript (or GED equivalent)
- Personal statement or short essay
A $50 application fee is required. Fee waivers may be available.
Admission Decisions
Once all required materials are received, applicants can expect an admissions decision within three weeks.
Admission offers remain valid for up to two years, allowing admitted students flexibility in choosing their start date.

- Fully asynchronous coursework through the Canvas Learning Management System
Students may delay enrollment for up to two years without reapplying.
Advising & Orientation
Academic advising is available on demand.
All admitted students must complete a required University Success Course prior to beginning academic coursework. This course introduces students to online learning expectations, academic tools, and institutional policies.
